We had 2 hours between trains, so we decided to have lunch here. my friend recommended this canteen to me. we ordered two meatballs and a Greek salad. one meat dish was good, and the other was raw. I was very disappointed, but the staff very quickly solved the issue. they replaced the dish for me. I was impressed with the speed and good service. — 33 zl for both

I was disappointed with the train station of Chelm but this restaurant was pleasant enough for me to have positive impression of the Chelm as a whole. I did not have to wait for a seat but it was 90% full. Tomato soup was delicious, and the dinner set with pork was tasty. They have large spaces behind which can accommodate tens of tables. Because the space was almost full, the service was a bit busy but quality of meals were excellent. Important thing: they take credit cards!

Very friendly staff, very helpful and respectful. Always a pleasure to take a small break here before taking the train to Warsaw or to Ukraine. The food is always on point, and they have the best Flaki I’ve tried. Prices are very fair. Give it a try!

Lovely Polish restaurant near the train station in Chelm. We had lunch here while we waited for our train to Ukraine. We were impressed by the colosal roasted duck in cranberry sauce and tater tots. The place was extremely busy when we visited, but the staff was extremely helpful. We had to share a table with another couple, which made for an even more authentic experience. Great atmosphere, huge portions, uncompromising taste.

Simple food. Some things are ok, some mediocre. But for huge portions and very very cheap prices I would rate this as 4 stars. Our meal for 2 was $14.50. Local soup was good. Meat pirogi were ok, and potato pancakes were not good at all, overcooked, tasteless dried and lacked salt.

This please has enormous portions. I had zurek soup and chicken salad and couldn't finish the latter. In the salad, there was a garlic mayo, which was very intense. My friend had a salad and pierogi with potatoes; the portions were also huge. Everything was delicious, though.

There's no place to eat near the railway station except this one so you are a kind of have no choice. Food here is of a low quality - portions are huge but I didn't want to eat anything of it. We took their lunch course, soup smelled with Galina Blanca, we ate only noodles from it, both three second dishes were all full of fat, all is fried, big, and tasteless, so I don't even want to comment. The only thing, the compote was amazing! Perfectly flavoured and not too sweet, so you can come here to drink a perfect one.
