BARTERBAR

This restaurant is a gemstone we accidentally found while exploring the region. Extremely tasty home-made food, extremely friendly owners, extremely nice atmosphere. Thank you for the great experience!

My father and I have recently visited my family in Poland, we were staying in Chrzanów area. Because we had to take care of several formalities, we were at the Aleja Henryka quite frequently. After our first visit to Barterbar it became our favorite place to eat while we were out. Ladies that work there were very kind and pleasant to talk to, restaurant itself is well looked after and the atmosphere is also nice. As for food, food was delicious, my dad's favorite were flaczki, in fact he ordered it every time we went, I enjoyed pierogies while other members of my family really enjoyed krokiet & barszcz. The portions are relatively small, especially krokiet & barszcz, some had to order it twice not to feel hungry but having said that, prices are also very attractive compared to other restaurants. In fact you can easily pay twice as much, get little more food, but not anywhere near as tasty, this is especially true in the mountains region (Zakopane, Nowy Targ region). I hope food quality and taste remains the same as it is truly amazing, making portions little bigger would be a great boost but I'd imagine it would also come with price hikes and I can imagine it's a challenging balancing act. Thank you for your great service and delicious food Barterbar, and best wishes to all the staff and clients from 🇨🇦

The portions of the food is small compared to other restaurants in the area. It tastes good but I wouldn't go there again . They should make bigger portions. The staff is friendly . The worst part is they're located at the pay parking area of Chrzanow . I only went there a few times but won't go there again. Why should I pay parking to get something to eat?

Always good homemade food. Never disappointing and excellent customer service. The bar is tastefully decorated and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I would recommend this bar to all my friends in CHRZANÓW and surrounding areas. Is a must for me every time.
