It's a lovely location by the water. The food is really tasty, the portions are great for sharing and the staff is friendly. I would definitely recommend it if you are in the neighbourhood - and especially in the summer the terrace is really nice, overseeing the pier.

A bit gloomy weather, but the place is in a nice quiet spot in Herttoniemi. Place also has a nice vibe. Tofu was really good.

Great experience at Koto Bento! The food was delicious, fresh, and authentic. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving good Japanese food. Will be back!

Very disappointing experience. Below mediocre food. Unfriendly staff. Extremely long waiting time. Has nothing to do with authentic Japanese “bento” concept. Only after we made an order and paid for it the waitress said that the waiting time is more than 30 minutes. It took >70 minutes to get our food. We ordered the only “bento” position from the menu which turned out to be greasy deep fried chicken served on salad leaves with mayonnaise dressing and with additional mayonnaise bowl as if it wasn’t already greasy enough. This has nothing to do with the original concept of “bento”. I have no idea why it was decided to name this dish a “bento” chicken. When asked for rice, we were offered to buy it separately. The waitress had a disappointed look like we should have known that rice is not served with 22€ bento dish. It was not stated in advance that the rice is not included. We had to buy it separately and got a tiny bowl of rice for ~4 euros. It’s the first time in Finland when I have to buy a rice separately from the main dish. The only good point is that the place is in a beautiful bay location.

Absolutely lovely food. Enjoyed really much the service, food and especially the view. Would recommend 100% to anyone looking for a place to eat. 10/10
