I had the absolute pleasure of dining at this restaurant in Karczmisz Dolny today, and I can honestly say it was one of the best culinary experiences of my life. From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable meal. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive without being intrusive, and genuinely passionate about what they were serving. It really felt like they wanted every guest to have the best possible experience. Now, let’s talk about the food — because wow! Every single dish that came to the table was beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. The absolute star of the evening was the fish dish. I’ve had fish in many countries, but nothing comes close to this. Perfectly cooked, flaky, and tender, it melted in the mouth. The seasoning was spot-on, balanced with fresh herbs and just the right touch of lemon, bringing out the natural flavors in the most delightful way. The accompaniments were equally amazing — fresh vegetables and sides that complemented the fish perfectly. Honestly, it was so good that I could happily eat it every single day. The portions were generous, the prices were very fair for the exceptional quality, and the overall vibe of the restaurant made the whole visit feel special. This is the kind of place you can go to for a casual lunch, a romantic dinner, or even to impress visiting friends and family. In short: amazing food, amazing service, amazing atmosphere. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would — this was a 10/5 experience. Without hesitation, I can say this is one of the best restaurants not only in Karczmisz Dolny, but in all of Poland. Everything we ordered was just delicious, done perfectly fine. I ordered tatar and beef stake and they were both definitely one of the best I have ever had a chance to taste. I appreciate perfect level of doneness - not so common even in good restaurants. I strongly recommend this place.

We first fell in love with Akuku 8 years ago...our meal was excellent , the service impeccable and the atmosphere charming.... BUT tonight's experience was not as lovely as it was in the past. Service was lackluster and he food was 'meh'. There was bone in the croquette, and while the duck was cooked nicely, the fat wasn't rendered, we missed glasses for our water and service wasn't totally attentive. Though our waitress was sweet, more service was needed.

Amazing restaurant in Kazimierz! Highly recommend it to anyone visiting or just passing through. The service is top-notch - not something you see often in Poland! The food is divine, and the atmosphere is simply magical. In short, if you're here and haven’t been yet - go fix that right now!

We had a really good time here! We have been travelling for 2 months and this was some of the best food we've eaten and affordable. Our favourite part was our 2 starters: the beef tartare and the duck/vegetable soup (the 2nd with a hint of orange). Both were absolutely delicious! We then had a schnitzel for mains which had a tasty cucumber salad and the Golabki was also very tasty. The food was well presented, portion sizes good for the price and Paulina our waitress was great! Would definitely recommend this restaurant!

So disappointed. Have loved the dining experience at Akuku, but must recognize that's in the past. The furnishings and decor are generic, having lost character. Our service was lacking. Glasses for water didn't arrive until a further reminder and no attentiveness during the meal. The food was unremarkable. Tempura oyster mushrooms was light and tasty. Pork terrine was spoiled with finding a bone and a sauce that went too far in acid. The beef cheeks were of course tender and the dish matched autumn. With the strength of buckwheat, beets, and sauce the flavor of the beef was lost when having all components in one bite. Our duck entre was slightly over and the fat not fully rendered. The different elements on the dish were not complimentary, nor cohesive. For a place so beloved and a meal we were looking forward to, I left feeling like I wouldn't return. There's just too many offerings in the town to settle. Sad to share this.
