Dinner tonight felt like stepping straight into the soul of Polish comfort cooking. The smoked meat soup arrived first — rich, golden, and steaming, with tender potatoes and a generous slab of smoky pork resting on top. It was the kind of bowl that warms you from the inside out, especially on a cold Kraków evening. Then came the baked dish: earthy, rustic, and beautifully layered, crowned with melted cheese and a handful of fresh sprouts. Every bite tasted like countryside cooking done with heart. All of it paired perfectly with a dark Kozel beer flickering in candlelight — simple, atmospheric, and quietly magical. A meal that doesn’t just fill you, but settles into memory the way good travel always does, one warm plate at a time. I’m in love with Krakow!

Yesterday, the two of us ate honey beer pork chops at a table opposite the toilet of a well-known 4.7-point restaurant near the salt mine. Maybe because the food was not clean, both of us had gastrointestinal discomfort for a day. We lay in the hotel for a day. We didn't have much appetite at night, but we still had to eat something, so we walked to this 4.3-point restaurant. We didn't have any expectations. Unexpectedly, the service lady was very polite and enthusiastic. Although we didn't make a reservation, she also arranged a comfortable seat for us. We only ordered a plate of dumplings and a soup. The dishes were unexpectedly delicious, especially the soup, which was sour and soothing, and finally made our stomachs comfortable. I don't understand why this restaurant only has 4.3 points. It is obviously much better than the 4.7-point restaurant. Maybe sometimes we can't just believe in the ratings.

Found this place while sightseeing in Kraków. A soldier marched us into the premises from the street, nice touch. We had a few drinks here and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Definitely pop back before we leave town. Dziękuję i do zobaczenia.

We are on a short break in Krakow and have been back to this restaurant/ bar about 6 times now. You are met at the entrance by a lovely man in his reenactment uniform, and you can sit in the courtyard or go inside. We have picked the courtyard each time as it's just an oasis of peace, where you can enjoy a variety of drinks, including a polish vodka shot platter 😀. Today, we were served by Kamil, who is amazing, although to be fair, all the staff are! Todays food was Tartare of beef for hubby and smoked cheese starter for me. Amazing! We then went for a wander around and came back for mains. Pork neck for him and breaded pork chop for me. Both are delicious, the pork neck is so tender, and the sauce was amazing. My chop was tender and moist and honestly accompanied by the best cabbage I've ever tasted. Absolute bargain for the quality, flavour, and lovely Kamil. The mojito is pretty damn fine too!

It was a great experience in Krakow’s old town. The restaurant is a bit hidden but when you find it you won’t be disappointed by the food and service. Kamil served us with a smile and made sure that our dinner was enjoyable! Thanks

Honestly, there were a lot more expectations. Especially once we got inside. The atmosphere is just beautiful, the old style coupled with live violin music is just magical. But there is a huge downside: the main dishes. We got the ribs and comparing to other places, they were just awful.

A restaurant worth visiting! It is located in a basement as are many restaurants in Cracow. The interior is nicely decorated transporting you to the time of the Austro-Hungarian Empire so the experience turns out captivating. You can enjoy a variety of tasty, traditional Polish dishes or relax with a drink. All in all the experience was worth it! I'd like to specially thank Max, our server, who was always attentive and helpful with a smiley face and good manners. If I happen to be in Cracow in the future, I will surely come back.

Nice restaurant in an heritage setting with either garden sitting or underneath cellar. Ambiance is old and feels like u are back in time. Good bar and the bartenders know very well their drinks got really nice cocktails. Food was good and flavourful. Portions were decent. Price wise it was okay. Service was a bit slow.
