Sakana Sushi&Sticks Kraków

Sakana Sushi in Krakow is a really lovely place with a fantastic atmosphere. The open counter is so interesting to watch as the chefs prepare the dishes it really adds to the experience. The service is excellent, but keep in mind that the tip is automatically included in the bill, and they didn’t mention this beforehand. The food is tasty and well-presented, although the little dish for soy sauce was a bit dirty. The restroom requires a code since the restaurant is inside a business center, but a staff member provides it, so it’s not a big problem. Prices are on the higher side—for example, a lemonade costs 70 PLN per jug. Overall, a very enjoyable experience with beautiful ambiance, but a bit pricey.

Best place in town when it comes to everything sushi. Had a wonderful experience and everything our waitress Emilia recommended was just marvellous. The fish was so fresh that it tasted like the chef literally caught it bare handed just for me in the instant I have placed the order. The harmony of the flavours on the tongue still leaves me speechless even to the point that I am considering picking up the dictionary to learn proper words so that I can describe such mastery.

From the moment I walked in until my last sip of tea, the service was impeccable. In essence, Sakana Sushi&Sticks in Kraków is not just a restaurant; it's an experience. We love sushi and we tried many sushi places around the world and this must be the in the top 3 if not #1. Very clean and delicious, good service, elegant restaurant. Make sure you make a reservation. A little bit pricey $$$ but I think it worth it. 🍤

Great food, a set of different tastes complementing one another. Dinner served very well by the staff. Nicely relaxing restaurant’s design. Service is very helpful and polite. The only concern is the music, pop or radio mixes fit better to a dancing/ bowling club. Definitely recommend 👌

Service is great and beyond being creative, the food tastes fresh and delicious. You can easily tell that the chefs care about their work. It’s a bit far from center but there’s a main tram line right outside the front door. The menu is a bit overwhelming in scale, so it may be a good idea to consolidate a little, ie, make the chefs recommendations a rotating weekly printout or verbal summary. That said it is beautifully designed. The decor is tasteful, great lighting, and must be great to sit at the bar watching the chefs work when it’s busy - which it wasn’t when we went because of the early reservation. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but the flavors warrant an occasional splurge. Also, specific tip for the spider roll: it’s critical for the legs to stick out from the roll, thus its namesake. Ours unfortunately did not.

Parking available, very easy to find. Building & bathrooms clean. Food quality was super, very fresh & taste like it should. Rice texture perfect…& rolled tight so they don’t fall apart on your plate. Excellent vegetarian/vegan options—so good! Warning on portions… combo platters are a lot larger than most places, great for take-away if you have a fridg! Service was attentive & felt welcoming, was always appropriate & professional. Would def come back!
