Złoty Jeleń in Polanica-Zdrój is, in our opinion, the best restaurant in town – the food was delicious and beautifully prepared, and the service was both helpful and friendly. A wonderful experience overall, and we will definitely be coming back!

I visited this restaurant with my wife during our vacation 2 x and we were surprised how friendly and helpful staff is working there. We decided to taste polish food and everything was very tasty. I fully recommend this restaurant.

After ten days in Polanica-Zdrój I think this is the best restaurant in the area. There are some good and more modern looking places just a few meters away, but I think they are behind either on service or quality of meals. I've been in Zloty Jelen 5 times, took different meals and everything was always perfect.

The place is hidden in the basement, and at first glance does not seem welcoming. However, this impression is quickly washed away by the small cozy details in the interior, such as the fireplace, lights and decorations here and there. The menu is a little bigger, as for me pizzas and burgers are not necessary as you can find really exciting options such, as deer stew or local trout. Food is 5 out of 5, good quality and fresh. The only two things that could have been better for my taste is: if you are serving kluski you need to accompany them with a lot of sauce, not just a little. Also, side blue cabbage was not really something to be excited about (vinegary, blunt, very soft). But those are in my perspective minor inconveniences, the rest was really tasty :) I can't wait to be back to try some more options from the menu.

Highly recommend! Great pizza and a selection of Polish and Czech dishes! Amazing location in a old basement. Loved the seasonal winter teas!

Great place, good location in centre of town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing is any trouble. Plus they are very dog friendly. Even with a great dane. Additionally new items on menu. Also soon freshly made and cooked italien style pizzas...
