Restauracja Graniczna

We were really hungry and decided to stop at this charming restaurant on our way and it was probably the worst decision we’ve made. As soon as we stepped in, the waitress rushed over and started listing what we could order, before we even had a chance to sit down or look at the menu. It felt more like we were being told what they were willing to serve, rather than being offered any real choice. A lovely start. Before we could even ask for drinks, she disappeared. No “What would you like to drink?” not even a glance. Just gone. Apparently, water, soda, or anything else falls into the category of “too much effort.” Trying to keep things simple, I checked the allergens and picked something (from what she offered) without milk and it was “Kotlet drobiowy w cieście” and kindly asked for fries. The food came out fast, which should’ve been the first red flag 🚩. Instead of fries, we got soggy, defrosted potatoes, and the “kotlet” was a greasy fried, complete with cheese and tomato inside. Exactly what I didn’t ask for 🤢 At that point, we didn’t bother complaining because the staff looked like they’d been working there since the early '90s just like the decor and, I’m guessing, the cooking oil. We didn’t finish (start) the food. We paid. We escaped to the restaurant next door. Please, do yourself a favor and skip this place. Yes, it’s cheap but if you’re looking for something that tastes like food, you’ll need to spend a few more złoty elsewhere. I wouldn’t serve this meal to my dog. After peeking toward the kitchen, I’m honestly surprised this place hasn’t been shut down yet. Your health is worth more than a bargain plate of nostalgia-fried disappointment.

The food was very tasty and affordable. The waitress was polite and could speak English. They accept payment with card. A great place to stop for lunch.

Really nice this place, and cheap. You can eat typical Polish food in a typical place, I advice to go there if you want try real food.

Excelente place to try local Polish food!! We tried the mushroom, goulash, bogracz and pierogi work meat. All delisiousous!!! And the service read very friendly and welcoming. Just make sure you use Google translate as they do not speak English!

"Restauracja" w nazwie to duże nadużycie. Jedzenie jak z najtańszego baru. Wszystko smażone w głębokim oleju, zaczynając od skapciałych i tłustych frytek, przez kuleczki drobiowe po schabowego. Mizeria i surówki stare, wręcz nie do zjedzenia. Z 5 dań zamówionych, tylko ziemniaki były smaczne, chociaż zimne... Dzbanek z kompotem jakby niedomyty, lepiący. W lokalu duszno, zapachy z kuchni nie zachęcają. Brudne gary w kuchni widoczne z sali sprzedaży leżące już od dłuższego czasu. Obsługa niesympatyczna. Reasumując, odradzam. Mimo niskich cen, nie warto.

Super miejsce! Jedzonko pyszne, obiadki domowe. Rewelacyjne zupy jak i drugie danie. Panie z obsługi przemiłe. Naprawdę warto. A ceny naprawdę niskie.
