I came here to try the famous Zurek, and I must say it fully met my expectations. The waiters were attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

Fantastic food in great localisation. Food was really delicious and affordable! The service and atmosphere was on high level and could recommend to anyone visiting Zakopane! My husband had Lamb Skewer with steamed vegetables, I had 3 potato pancakes with mushroom sauce and additional dumplings, my friend had breaded chicken breast with fries. Please be aware that if food doesn’t have extra item listed you need to add them from the menu, which is great option.

Have a late lunch here for some local cuisines on the way back to the town center. This restaurant was huge with many tables inside and outside. Staff ladies were very friendly and spoke fluent English for our sake. We have beetroot soup with dumplings and pork rib, and an apple pie to share. The beetroot soup was superb with strong beetroot favour and 6 tasty little dumpling. It was appetizing. The pork rib was a big stack, came with 4 tasty sides (carrot stripes, coleslaw, salad and beetroot stripes) and a large portion of fries. The rib was okay as the tenderness of meat was not even as the top portion. Was softly tendered but the meat at the ribs was a bit tough. Fries were average as well. The apple pie was not bad and more like an apple bread pudding instead. Overall a good meal with reasonable pricing.

The most delicious food with very reasonably prices! During my 4 day stay in Zakopane, I ate at this restaurant 3 times and didn’t regret it once. The waitresses are amazing - super attentive and it’s seriously impressive how they manage the restaurant so well even at peak times. The food is great and portions are bigger than I expected. Expect to wait in a queue outside the restaurants at peak times - it’s that good!!

The atmosphere is cozy. The wooden furniture and tradicional polish music makes you feel like you're in a small polish village. The food was amazing, I really recommend potato pancakes with garlic butter. They were soft, hot and pretty affordable, 20 zloty.
